Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! Spent the morning and afternoon with my mom. Took her back from the nursing home. Had breakfast and lunch with her. Nothing fancy, just simple food. Fishball noodles for breakfast while ordered a few homecook dishes for lunch from Restuarant Sun Mar Poh, Ipoh Garden. Good and reasonable price dishes offered by this restaurant. What to do? My cooking is lousy. Spent some quality time with her by chatting with her. I am sure everyone had a great time with their mom today! Some had decided to celebrate earlier to beat the crowd. Smart people! It is really crowded today at most restaurant. For those that are not able to be with your mom to celebrate Mother's Day for some reason, please at least give her a call! It means a lot to her! Anyway, there are some people who really can't with their mom today. Can always visit her on another day. Mother's Day is just a day we have to honor our mom for her sacrifice for us. It is now being too commercialized! We should in fact shower her with love everyday while she is still with us. Spend more time with her whenever we can. For those who can afford it, shower her with all the gifts u can! For those who can't lavish her with gifts, give her a small simple gift or visit her and spend time with your mom. Gifts are not everything, it is the love from our bottom of our heart our mom needs from us all!
